“I hate quotations. Tell me what you know.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
What message is yearning inside you? What is something you know deep in your soul? Don’t look for someone else to describe it. You do it. Write it down. Write it as a poem, a sentence or even just a string of words. Just make sure you get it to paper.
The ocean always wins.
The hard black rock looks so formidable, standing valiantly against the wind and tide.
I am strong, I am steady, you cannot beat me down, it cries at the waves.
The ocean always wins.
I am young, bubbling up from the center of the earth.
My sheer heat turns you into steam, it laughs.
The ocean always wins.
I gain character, I age and crack but stand ready to house aquatic life and destroy unwary ships.
Nothing that you can do will erase me.
The ocean always wins.
I am fine black sand, still the bed for waves. You erode me but I am still here.
The ocean always wins.
A shell, a trace, nothing more... and fiery orange magma hisses, pops,
Breaking the surface after a climb of thousands and thousands, feet and years.
The ocean awaits.
WOW, Rich! BeautiFULL visuals and such heartfelt energy pouring through in waves of words.
